I am planning a road trip to visit colleges around California during spring break.
Places that are definitely on my list to visit are: UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Francisco [the college and the city], UC Berkeley, UCLA, Sacramento and and Monterrey.
What are some other interesting places I could visit within a week to 2 week time limit.
I am really interesting in music, art and nature, so any areas with heavy influence by those particular things would be awesome!

I just moved in to Schenectady, NY. I would like to see some good places (around 300 – 500 miles away) this long weekend?
