I am planning a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake area to visit Wine Vineyards, and want to find out what is the best time between January-May to visit to get the best experience? Thanks!

Myself and a few mates are planning to visit this area in August. We’re going to fly into Boston (Logan Intl.) and from there work our way down the coast using trains for approx 3 weeks before booking an internal flight to visit Chicago. Just wondering would anyone have any good tips on where to go. At the moment its Boston – New York – DC, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
